Research
Understanding the biology, and how it shows in blood
We study the biological processes that drive Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and develop assays that measure how that biology is reflected in blood. Each project brings us closer to diagnosis, monitoring and care based on biology.
01
New assay formats
Next-generation blood tests that capture more of the biology behind neurodegeneration.
02
Increase of access
Taking biomarker testing beyond the clinic, to the people who need it most.
03
Clinical implementation
Turning biomarker results into decisions clinicians can act on.
Funded research
Active funded projects
Alongside the programmes above, the lab leads and contributes blood biomarker work to studies funded by the NIH, the U.S. Department of Defense and private foundations, with collaborators across the country.
